A world apart…
Since 2010, Dr. Kuenning has been involved in the OneSight Foundation, traveling around the world to provide free eyecare and glasses to those in need.
Studies show that having clear vision helps us get jobs, earn more, take better care of our families. do better in school, and connect with one each other. But 1 in 7 people across the globe don’t have basic access to eyeglasses or vision care. The OneSight Foundation is determined to change that, and Dr. Kuenning has been right there with them on their journey.
Dr. Kuenning has been to India, Thailand, The Gambia, Mexico, China, Tanzania, Nicaragua, and the Hoopa Indian Reservation, where she and a talented team of other Doctors, Opticians, translators, and support staff set up free eyecare clinics and provide eye exams and prescription eyeglasses to thousands in need.
